DATA GATHERING WORKSHOP
As part of GED Africa’s commitment to facilitating access to employment opportunities brought by the KMTR project, we are proud to have introduced a digital process for gathering and sharing data between job seeking members of the local community and our contractors.
Utilising a secure digital platform, the data is stored and shared with contractors when general labour positions become available across the project footprint. This approach is aimed at improving localisation, ensuring positions that may not require any experience are filled from members of our host communities.
This initiative helps reduce identity fraud and migrant workers while stimulating the local economy and keeping families together.

We are committed to engage local contractors for the project works. This policy complements our efforts in community development and livelihood restoration, ensuring a greater impact on the local economy and enhancing the well-being of our host communities.
